Before I give you some tarot for the month shall we get into this big ole blue moon we just had? According to the astro girlies we’re still feeling it so why not? I saw a lot on IG about this moon being for wishing which isn’t usually the move on a Full Moon. Why would this one be different? However, it kind of makes sense, because expressing a wish also creates space. Its tough to clutch a wish and realize it. It’s gotta get out of there to do its thing you know?
What do the cards have to say about what this moon means for us….Where should we be wishing or creating space for magic?

What messages are you getting about career, money, and your gifts? Can you bring some childlike enthusiasm to your authority and knowledge? Can you pair talent with joy? If you can look at things slightly differently new messages and breadcrumbs to follow will likely occur. Here’s the thing you can reverse psychology this a bit too, just letting go of what you believe (that might be more obscuring than supportive for the record) could create the void magic needs to cook. Where are you playing with fire and protesting innocence? Where are you positive you have no agency but if you asked yourself why do I believe that you might find some? The Devil is about power, its about how close we can dance to the fire and not get burned. Its about how we all play these games in different arenas but if we’ll own that we can bring it into balance. Its okay to be sad. It’s okay to have feelings around loss. The 5 of Cups often isn’t a doozy of a loss but one that does tug at our identity. It’s not always a clean surrender. We may get it, we may know its gotta go, but our feelings are a bit complex around it. Here’s the thing with this one just admit it. Admit you’re sad, be in your feels for a hot second, say I get this but I am sad about this. That gets the wound healing not covering it in saran wrap and hoping for a miracle while staying firmly in denial.

So this is an inherently positive card in my opinion and it’s not like tarot to be like oh your full moon message… you’re a queen! So what is it speaking to? I believe it’s saying quit the charades around your gifts. Don’t play a queen on TV and think that will suffice what would it mean to really be in service or your gifts and not shielding with sanctimony? What are you ready to rise above by truly believing in yourself, your value, and gifts that you’re just sort of dancing around or getting distracted by others. The more you focus on yourself and instill that self belief, the more distant the chatter of others gets. You’ll forget you ever compared yourself to everyone else versus focusing on yourself.

Sometimes when it looks like we’re heading into a crossroads we try to duck it. We don’t want to make the decision. Which fair, however acknowledging the crossroads is there and a decision will need to be made will keep things moving in your life. When we duck the crossroads things start to pile up and stagnancy starts to creep in. You don’t have to set fire to your life, or make a decision before the first quarter moon or anything but acknowledging it will free you up. Another thing to be aware of, anywhere no one has the answer for you is not because they’re jerks and won’t help you. It’s because you have it, and need to quiet the noise to hear it. The Hermit always reminds us we’re our own best expert and wizard even if we have to get there on our own time. You’re not being punished you’re being reminded.
Scorpio | Scorpio Rising | The Sun RX
It’s funny to me this is the only card reversed and one of the more positive cards and messages. However, no matter how much you would like someone else’s medicine, it’s still medicine for someone. There are no monsters under the bed Scorpio. It’s possible that life is good, life is expanding and growing and what might prevent that isn’t some unseen evil force, but you’re certainty it can’t be. I’m not going to suggest you use this moon cycle to become an optimist. I am however going to suggest you try to just be present and catch yourself when you go to the assuming and story telling. Ask yourself has that ever really softened a blow? Probably not. The winds will change, another boat will be taken to shore, enjoy it when you’re in the lead.
Sagittarius | Sagittarius Rising | The Wheel of Fortune
For a blue moon in your sign Sag it feels very fitting for the Wheel of Fortune to turn up and say hello. Can you be present in order to be ready when its time to take off? Can you ground your energy in order to direct it where you want to foster growth? Can you accept that your ability to shoot yourself out of a cannon is not the same as having control? Can you look at what you can and can’t control and make that work a little more harmoniously for you? Of course you can! I’d argue a Capricorn’s issues with love are far less being a manic pixie dream person love bombing and moving along thinking nothing of the bruised hearts in their path but actually… not letting their inner Carebear out. Pisces | Pisces Rising | 10 of Wands
What would pushing yourself to the brink feel or look like? I’m not sure you’re there sweet fishes, I’m leaning more towards you self protect yourself away from intensity that actually might be helpful. It doesn’t have to ruin your life, or turn you into a different person. However what would it feel like to let go and really pour yourself into something? What would it feel like to shut everyone and their needs out for a short while to go buck wild pursuing what you want? I feel like everyone including you would live.
